Why Phoenix if we're in Colorado?

The Phoenix Group is named for the mythical bird of great beauty from ancient Greek, Egyptian and Arabian mythology. The phoenix's flight has been said to represent the capacity to leave the world and its problems behind, flying towards the sun in clear pure skies.

Only one phoenix could exist at a time and approximately every 500-600 years when it felt its end was near, the phoenix would build a nest to be used as a funeral pyre. The old phoenix was consumed in flames and a new phoenix would arise from those ashes.

We chose this symbol because we believe that to be responsive to the rehabilitation market and the clients who use our wheelchairs, seating systems and accessories, it no longer works to just do "business as usual".

By being totally focused on rehabilitation and the needs of the rehabilitation clinician and client, by bringing together multiple companies with complementary products and corporate values, we set ourselves apart from those manufacturers and vendors whose goal is to be all things to all people.
